Southdown Marina
Southdown Marina is a small, friendly marina set in the picturesque surroundings of the River Tamar, just a quarter of a mile from Plymouth Sound. Peaceful, sheltered, and surrounded by countryside, it offers a relaxed alternative to busier commercial marinas — while remaining just moments from the City of Plymouth.

Perfectly Located on the Tamar
Situated on the Cornish side of the River Tamar, Southdown Marina enjoys a superb natural setting with excellent access by water.
After passing Drake’s Island in Plymouth Sound and entering the Hamoaze, with Cremyll Point to port, you’ll find Southdown Marina and Yacht Club on the north side of Millbrook Lake, tucked behind the beautiful grounds of Mount Edgecumbe Park.
Sheltered and easy to approach, the marina is ideally placed for relaxed cruising and exploration.
